  Our contractor hired Hotwire (St. Louis) to do the electrical work on our kitchen remodel. It took them about 9 days to complete the electrical work, that our contractor said would take about 4-5 days. Fact: their work failed St. Louis County electrical inspections, not once, but 3 separate times.
  The owner of Hotwire called me today and threatened to file a lien against our home since our contractor will not pay them for any work above the written bid that they gave our contractor.
  I strongly recommend if your contractor wants to use Hotwire Electric, that you have a talk with your contractor.
